Kevin is the founder, owner, and Chief Firearms Instructor of S.A.F.E., where he passionately teaches self-defense with heart of a teacher and the heart of a lion.

He has been involved in martial arts since his early teens, mastering skills in Aikido, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, and Karate. Kevin is a Certified Firearms Instructor through the USCCA, NRA, and the State of Tennessee – Department of Safety and Homeland Security, as well as a Certified Range Safety Officer (RSO) and SharpShooter Award from the NRA.

A published author, devoted father and husband, Kevin is also a member of the NRA and Right to Bear. He is certified to teach a variety of professional courses, including NRA Basic Pistol, USCCA's Concealed Carry and Home Defense, Countering a Mass Shooter Threat, Women’s Self Defense, and Handgun Fundamentals.

Additionally, Kevin conducts self-defense classes, pistol defense classes, and courses on the shotgun platform, as well as training on the AR and long gun rifles.

Chad has 20 years of martial arts training including Kenpo Black Belt and is Level 4 Krav Maga instructor (with Krav Maga Alliance). He is also a Tennessee certified handgun instructor, NRA life member, NRA pistol instructor, and NRA range safety officer.

Chad attended classes such as Gunsite 250 Marksman 1 designation (top shot of class, top score of class), Suarez International Advanced Gun Fighting, Advanced Rifle Gun Fighting, Low-light Handgun and Tactical Shotgun. Needless to say - Chad is a truly phenomenal and accomplished instructor.
