Learn the safe and proper use of a shotgun.
Service Description
This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and drills for the safe and proper use of a shotgun while aiming at a target. This is for either pump-action or semi-automatic shotguns. This course is at least 3hours long and includes range time learning how to safely and properly shoot shotguns. Students learn the rules for safe gun handling; shotgun parts and operation; shotgun shell components; shotgun shell malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development.
